Online is pleased to announce that we placed 7th on the list of 50 “Best Workplaces in Canada” (100-999 employees). Online has been recognized on this list for the last 14 consecutive years.

“At what is probably one of the most uncertain times any of us has ever experienced, it is even more important that we take time out to celebrate the positive things in life. And I can’t think of a better group of individuals to celebrate this good news with. Onliners are amazing people and the reason we have made this list for 14 years,” said Ria Neuendorff, Online’s Chief People Officer.

 

This list is very meaningful to Online because it is primarily based on the feedback Onliners provides through confidential surveys. Every year, we use that feedback to understand what we are doing well as a company and where we can continue to improve.

Over the past few weeks of physical distancing, we have been reminded that it’s our people that make Online unique. They have shown incredible patience and professionalism while we pivoted overnight to accommodate the needs of our clients and adopt a new operating model.

The 2020 Best Workplaces™ in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results and the remaining one-third comes from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

This year’s list received over 400 registrations and over 80,000 employees participated in the 2020 “Best Workplaces™ in Canada” survey, rolling out to impact over 300,000 Canadian employees.
